Meet your therapist
Lisa Holtkamp,
LPC-MHSP
I use a client-centered, psychodynamic approach to help clients reconnect with their deeper sense of self and wholeness. I am especially passionate about helping clients connect to the truth of who they are and identifying the stories and experiences that have shaped them. Holding a high value for trust and honesty within the therapeutic relationship, therapy can be a beautiful and challenging agent for change.
I am originally from New York City, but spent many years in Minnesota. After a successful career in banking and finance in Washington D.C.,I found myself reassessing my career goals and discovered my favorite things about work were all tasks that focused on supporting and developing those around me. This led me to pursue a counseling degree on the North Shore in Massachusetts. I now call Nashville home and can be found hiking or camping on the weekends, going to yoga, and spending time with my loved ones (especially my cat and dog).
